This piece takes an historical approach to showing tension and loss of communication. The piece is a painting of a photoshoot, and changing the composition and colors of the original. The piece was inspired by Gustav Klimt’s Death and Life, using pattern flow and color to convey strong emotion. Acrylic is used to create the base colors of the painting, and oil is used to completely cover the paint in detail and movement of the piece.
