Forbidden love is often a recurring theme, but often not shown in folk art.

Two lovers with completely different lives. The left figure deals with the struggles of accepting yourself to coincide with religion. The messages and little details express the battles of christianity versus sexuality. The other figure represents fame and the battle between fame and privacy, which is represented by the abundant amount of eyes surrounding the figure, and representatives of money. Overall, this piece represents the restrictions to love, and the limits it can bring between lovers.
